What our customers are

Hi Max, hope you are doing well. I have been thinking of you as I go through these months of isolation. I just wanted to let you know how much better my days are having your paintings as part of my life. They bring me joy. Thank you.

Situated in what was once a stable...in the Butchers Hill neighborhood of Baltimore, MAXgallery is a transformative space for artists and art lovers. With ample gallery and studio areas, the owner/artist and curator has provided a place for art to flourish.

Great Space and art. The shows are always interesting and the owner/artist Maxine Taylor, always gracious.

Thanks for all you do to make Baltimore the vibrant art scene that it is. I especially loved the Arabber show with the cranky performance. The fact that your gallery studio and home are based in a former...stable added so much depth to the experience. I appreciate your commitment to build a community.

About Maxine

A native of California, I moved to Maryland in 1972 at which time I began to paint seriously, first in watercolor and subsequently acrylic and mixed media.

Active in the DC art scene as a member of Studio Gallery from 1991-1997, I am now a resident in Baltimore, Maryland, where I moved in 1997 when I purchased an old stable to rehab into a live-in studio.
